Peter Bennett – Partner
Peter has been recognized for his high achievements within the recruiting industry by being awarded the designation of “Staffing Professional of the Year 2001” for the state of California. This prestigious award is given by the staffing industry’s professional association: California Staffing Professionals (CSP). Peter has held the office of Vice President for the South Bay Chapter of CSP; in addition he has served as the Program Chairperson. He has been considered instrumental in developing the South Bay CSP Chapter by providing a wide variety of different speakers and programs on a monthly basis.
Having graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, he is also a California Accredited Consultant (C.A.C.). Peter spent over 9 years with his last employer and was acknowledged for outstanding levels of performance and training by being named “Employee of the Year.”
Peter is selective in his approach to recruiting. He has the ability to match candidates and clients quickly and successfully. He is an ethical, proactive and straightforward recruiter who treats everyone respectfully, honestly and professionally. Peter takes the time to listen to the needs of his clients and candidates, in order to make the best possible placement.
With over 20 years of experience in recruitment, his client base includes industries such as real estate, non-profit, manufacturing, distribution, cosmetics, advertising, entertainment, architecture and insurance. Peter networks extensively within the community and has established relationships with many staffing services throughout California.
Christie Gaynor – Partner
A professional staffing consultant, Christie is a member of the Certified Staffing Professionals (CSP) and is also a California Accredited Consultant (C.A.C.). Christie offers both candidates and clients a solid foundation of experience, ethics, and expertise as well as a warm and genuine concern not found in many recruiters within today’s marketplace. She is a degreed professional from Arizona State University and has a rich, diversified background. Christie has placed hundreds of candidates in various levels of administrative, accounting, financial (back and front office), customer service, and marketing positions. Her clients encompass diverse industries; such as financial services, investment management, real estate, advertising, beauty, public relations and insurance.
Christie understands the commitment and dedication it takes to establish a trusting and positive relationship with both her clients and candidates. She is intuitive, compassionate, yet proactive and straight forward in her approach to doing business. Christie understands how a candidate feels while searching for a new position and understands what her clients’ needs are in order to hire the right individual.

Sara Mohlin – Director of Business Development/Sr. Recruiter
Sara Mohlin is an accomplished, result driven Business Developer and Recruiter with over 20 years of experience. She has worked with Fortune 500 and boutique companies in industries such as venture capital, accounting, law firms, public relations agencies and others.
Sara has demonstrated the ability to build relationships with clients based on personality, follow-through and account management. She also prepares and coaches candidates for interviews by providing them with detailed information for a mutually successful interview.
Sara has built a portfolio of business by networking in various capacities, attending trade shows, cold calling and by referrals, while providing exceptional customer service to her existing clients and candidates.
Sara is excited to be newly affiliated with the boutique staffing agency, BGSS. She looks forward to working with you and bringing to you, her years of success in the staffing industry.
Marissa Helstowski – Recruiting Coordinator
Marissa is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. Marissa worked her way through college and since graduating has been in the corporate world in such industries as alternative energy and renewables. She also has hospitality experience while working through college in restaurants and hotels in the Boston and Los Angeles areas. Marissa’s warm and charismatic demeanor makes everyone feel welcomed not only when they contact BGSS over the phone, but when they come into the office for an appointment. Her passion and interest in this industry is quite evident when dealing with clients and candidates on a daily basis, and her enthusiasm and dedication to making everyone’s experience a positive one is infectious. This is something Marissa strives to achieve everyday with every client and candidate who she interacts with. She is excited to continue her role with BGSS and grow within the organization.
