Peter Bennett and Christie Gaynor, co-owners of BGSS, have been in the recruiting industry for over 20 years. Peter and Christie spent seven years working together at a prior agency before starting their own firm in 2009. They believe in making a sustainable future and helping people on a more personal one-on-one basis. In their first year of operation, they assisted candidates with free résumé and interview consultations during that difficult period of time when the recession was making the strongest impact.
Positions BGSS Fills
As generalists, we place all types of contract and direct hire positions throughout the greater Los Angeles area and beyond. We primarily work with the corporate sector, placing candidates at all levels in areas such as finance, manufacturing, beauty, real estate/property management, insurance, and non-profit organizations.
BGSS has two divisions: direct hire and temporary. For temporary placement, we partner with a national PEO, a third party payroll company, that administers and handles the payroll, taxes, insurance and worker’s comp issues for all contract employees; they assume full responsibility as the employer of record and any employee liabilities for each temporary employee at our client companies.
We specialize in all levels of office support including high-level executive assistants, administrative assistants, office managers, clerks and receptionists, customer service, human resources, accounting, sales and marketing positions, as well as executive level and management positions at for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Our team uses a consultative approach in dealing with both candidates and clients. This has made us extremely successful in placing hundreds of people within California’s wide ranging industries.
We pre-screen every candidate first by phone and then in person prior to any interview with our client. This ensures our clients that candidates are pre-qualified and fit within the desired parameters of the job description, as well as any added qualifications they requested. We work very closely with our clients to find the most qualified candidates, saving them valuable time in our pre-screening process.
